The 2009 LIVE UNITED Campaign Video is a fun, upbeat look at how different people throughout the Greater Topeka community are star models, er… uh… I mean role models! Enjoy learning how they Live United through Giving, Advocating and Volunteering through the hilarious commentary of the video/fashion show host, Maximillian (local actor, Greg Kumins). The video really reminds everyone how you can feel good just by choosing to Live United. The models Give, Advocate and Volunteer in a variety of ways, but the message comes full circle at the end when Maximillian breaks character and challenges the viewer to “Don’t Just Wear the Shirt, LIVE IT!”

The Seattle Seahawks celebrate the success of United Way of King County’s Climb for the Community in the pregame broadcast of the September 3, game vs. the Oakland Raiders. United Way of King County CEO Jon Fine raised the 12 Flag with the climbers. The Climb for the Community raised $380000 to help vulnerable people meet their most basic needs, such as food and housing.
